Eastern India Engineering Fair ,BITM
Hello, and welcome to my personal blog! Today I want to share with you my experience at the Engineering Fair 2023 held at Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkata.
The Eastern India Science Fair (EISF) is an annualinterstate level competitive event that aims to promote creativity & innovation in our youth. Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM) has been organizing a Science Fair for school students of the Eastern Zone of the country since 1975.
As an engineering enthusiast, I was thrilled to be a part of this event. The fair was bustling with energy and creativity, with engineers, inventors, and enthusiasts coming together to showcase their latest inventions and projects. It was a great platform for me to exhibit my engineering projects and to learn about the latest trends and developments in the field of engineering.
My first project, the IoT-based attendance system, was designed to simplify and automate the attendance process in schools and colleges. The system used a microcontroller and a Wi-Fi module to connect to the internet and keep track of the attendance of students and teachers. The visitors were fascinated by the system's ability to record attendance in real-time, its accuracy, and its convenience. I received many queries from visitors on how they could implement this system in their institutions.
My second project, the glow ornament, was an experiment in using LEDs and Arduino boards to create a stunning light display. The ornament had a hypnotic effect, with its bright and colorful lights, and it was an instant hit with visitors. Many visitors stopped by to admire the project and take pictures with it. I received a lot of positive feedback on the ornament's design, aesthetics, and innovative use of technology.
Happy Visitors
One of the highlights of the fair was the opportunity to interact with other exhibitors and to learn about their projects. It was inspiring to see the diversity of projects on display, ranging from robotics to environmental engineering, and from social innovation to renewable energy. I had some fascinating conversations with fellow engineers and inventors, and I learned a lot about the latest trends and developments in the field of engineering. Another significant benefit of the fair was the feedback I received from visitors and other exhibitors. The feedback helped me to identify areas for improvement and to fine-tune my projects. It was also a great opportunity to receive validation for my work and to gain exposure to a wider audience.
Conclusion
In conclusion, my experience at the Eastern India Engineering Fair at BITM, Kolkata was an enriching and rewarding one. It was a great platform for me to showcase my engineering skills and creativity, to learn about the latest trends and developments in the field of engineering, and to receive feedback from visitors and fellow exhibitors. I look forward to attending similar events in the future and continuing to contribute to the field of engineering.
